Opportunities

AAAP RATNA

AAAP scholarship was instituted in the year 2011 when the executive body realised the need for more interaction between the alumni and the students. The initial idea was to identify and groom a deserving student and develop into an excellent agro-professional. Over the years the process of selection has evolved too and apart from written exam it has a group discussion and in-depth interview. The criteria are overall performance in academics, sports and extracurricular activities.

The AAAP Ratna scholarship is a unique experience not only for the students but for those in the selection committee as well. After the written exam a topic for group discussion is given to the students. Each member of the committee individually assesses every candidate and later it is followed by an in-depth interview. The earnestness with which the entire process is conducted makes it easy for students to face interviews later in their life.

It would be unjust if we do not mention the role of the faculty at Pantnagar who, whole-heartedly co-operate and support us in this endeavour.

Assistance

As Alumni of College of Agriculture and faculties, we have pledged to support the colleagues in need; in this regard, we have a provision of a conditional Assistive; which can preferably be a Medical Assistance. In the past, we have been very actively engaged in this work and we are grateful for the responses and contributions. We always look forward to helping our alumni in the best way possible.

AAAP strives to come to the aid of every graduate from Pantnagar University in the times of their distress. But as AAAP has limited funds, the financial assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to reach out the AAAP’s executive committee by submitting your request in the contact form here, explaining the need for which the assistance is required. AAAP executive body will go through your application and try to provide the best assistance it could in the limited resources it commands.

Though financial assistance is a tangible gift that AAAP can provide to a seeker, there are many other intangible ways in which AAAP could assist you. AAAP can tap into the wide network of Pantnagar Alumni and try to:

It always helps to have someone who could handhold you and guide you to make a better informed decision, or get you to the forum where you are heard. The sum is always more than its parts. At AAAP, we aim to harness the power of our alumni network to come to the aid of one amongst us in the times of their need
